Below is a good rule of thumb to follow when determining when to bring your Lexus in for an oil change, based on the type of oil your car uses and whether or not it’s direct injected:

• Conventional motor oil – Change at least every 5,000 miles*
• Synthetic motor oil – Change at approximately 7,500 miles*
• Direct Injected – Your vehicle need the BG oil treatment / cleaner for piston ring and intake service.
